I hired a DM minion very early, and now its bigger than what I need it to be, so I give it GA, with both spell trained to near max utility, I still have nearly 70k XP to distribute. What do I put it on?

I converted my front and back minions to steel skin half-walls myself.

Why is there no base decay there? What's the downside?
