Forging. (in General)

Why does it say different things when you use the same formula?

For example.

I'm forging my +12 cab to +13 using the [20,3:30] formula.

Ok forge Cycle 1:
(read from bottom to top for correct order)

Hardening Cycle 1:

your Cabasset is cool to the touch
You feel like you need to heat your Cabasset again
You quench your Cabasset in the water
You see blue spots on the surface of your Cabasset
You quench your Cabasset in the water
your Cabasset glows cherry-red
You cast a spell. (hardening)
your Cabasset glows cherry-red
You heat your Cabasset (+10 min)
You can feel the heat from your Cabasset through your gloves
You heat your Cabasset (+10 min)
your Cabasset is cool to the touch

Tempering Cycle 1:

your Cabasset is cool to the touch
You feel quiet satisfaction as you gaze on your Cabasset.
You quench your Cabasset in the water
A drop of water sizzles on your Cabasset
You feel like you're almost done
You cast a spell. (tempering)
A drop of water sizzles on your Cabasset
You heat your Cabasset (+30 sec)
A drop of water sizzles on your Cabasset
You heat your Cabasset (+1 min)
your Cabasset is too hot to touch
You heat your Cabasset (+2 min)
your Cabasset is cool to the touch

Hardening Cycle 2:

your Cabasset is cool to the touch
You quench your Cabasset in the water
You see blue spots on the surface of your Cabasset
You quench your Cabasset in the water
your Cabasset glows cherry-red
You cast a spell. (Hardening)
your Cabasset glows cherry-red
You heat your Cabasset (+10)
You can feel the heat from your Cabasset through your gloves
You heat your Cabasset (+10)
your Cabasset is cool to the touch

Tempering Cycle 2:

your Cabasset is cool to the touch
You feel quiet satisfaction as you gaze on your Cabasset.
You quench your Cabasset in the water
A drop of water sizzles on your Cabasset
You cast a spell. (tempering)
A drop of water sizzles on your Cabasset
You heat your Cabasset (+30 sec)
A drop of water sizzles on your Cabasset
You heat your Cabasset (+1 min)
your Cabasset is too hot to touch
You heat your Cabasset (+2 min)
your Cabasset is cool to the touch

As you can see the exact same formula is being used, but it's different... and it's confusing me? Is there a purpose to this? or are the lines such as "You feel like you're almost done" completely random? :S

Are you talking about the quiet satisfaction and feel like you're almost done portions? because those are pretty random depending on where the rpm ends at the end of a cycle

Yes, it is random, although i wish it weren't as it sometimes messes me up thinking it went a line too long, so i end up doing an extra step.
