So we have recently had the issue of the Rofl Gloves, also known as the Gloves of Mercy, come into issue of the uselessness, is that even a word? Reviewing past auctions of them, because I thought mine were getting on the high priced side, I noticed something.
Auction A:
A Pair of Gloves of Mercy [0] $95,000 $1,605 Oct 17
Won by Talion. At about what their worth has become as of recent.
Auction B:
A Pair of Gloves of Mercy [0] $115,474 $1,605 Oct 17
But yet here IA was overbid by Mr. Chairman when IA's bid was 110k.
Same day, probably within an a few hours of each other. What makes CB bid on Auction B while letting Auction A go at the lower rate?

Different throw of the dice?
I was debating staying up and seeing how much Mr. Chairman was willing to pay, but then I got tired and went to bed. Maybe next time.
"Different throw of the dice?" -Bartjan
But yet I thought Mr. C went upon a specific ruleset for how he bid? When did a Random Number Generator become wether he decides to bid?

Everything in this game has some kind of randomness in it...

also, the fact that the chairman has bought many of the recent auctions may have let him know that the perceived value of GoM was a bit high... ~_^
