CB3 (in General)

Where is it?

When will it come?

Why isn't it already here?

Because no one really wants it to be...?

Yet, i guarantee everyone active here would join and try it out at the very least.

I would not be surprised at a launchdate of Jan 1st 2010 :)

This one has seen some drastic changes since it's birth. I really do not see why we'd need a CB3, as the current one already has the potential to be modified a lot.

As I understand it, CB1 was moved away from because it lacked the ability to be changed in the necessary ways. CB2 was created to be -changed-. Besides, there are many players here who I'm not so sure would be interested in moving to a CB3.

Luckily, I don't think it's necessary.

With all the USD spent in CB2, I highly doubt a CB3.

If the investment of players in the way of USD mattered at all, there would be no Cb2.

I meant that with all the USD that people have already put into CB2, I doubt anyone would move on to CB3, and it would be very short-lived.
Although, I don't know how much USD was put into the game during CB1, so I really can't say from experience...

Maybe it's just me, but can anybody else recall Jon saying CB3 will never come? He will just keep updating CB2? The updates needed he couldnt do with cb1, which required the update.

that is pretty much what i remember. not so much regarding he could not update it but that it was very difficult to change, not flexible enough or somesuch.

CB3 should never come.

As GW has alreadys stated, CB2 was mostly created for easier maintenance and easier way of adding/changing new ideas. So there should be no CB3.

I also recall Jon saying that there will be no CB3, but that was many moons ago. He can easily change his mind like he did with CB1 (keeping it open as long as people kept playing it).

What Slayer has said is true. There were many players who spent USD in CB1. There are also the same players who spent USD in CB2. Same wil apply in CB3 if it ever came.

All in all, if CB3 ever came, I hope that CB2'ers feel the same pain us loyal CB1'ers did. :P

To be honest i dont think Jon has the time to sit down and create it. he couldnt even handle one change month. How is he going to create a whole new CB?

the reason jon doesn't share his plans for the game is likely exemplified by the above post.

i like the fact that jon has been more open recently and would like to keep that path of communications open, so please do not ruin it for the rest of us and remain polite and civil.
