The 100K Daily Pot is Guaranteed only if you pick all three numbers correctly, and if and only if we have 100K in the pot. If the pot is above 100K the winner of the pot will get 75% of the pot and 25% will be donated to a fund for our up and coming *POWERBALL GAME* which will be in another post shortly, after we see how this PICK 3 Game is going to go.

Steve G I hope that you will take your negativeness elsewhere, another foul comment like that will forbid you from playing in any of our lotteries.

The numbers are now reduced to 1-20 and you must have all three numbers to win.

Does order matter?

im just saying that even the real life pick3 only has a 1-9 option, and even then theres not always a winner, to have anything more then that is just inane, i was just pointing that out but i guess i should have said it this way rather then the way i did

For the record dude, that's still 8000 combinations. And from my experience there's 100 active CB players at once. Assuming everyone buys 3 tickets, that's 300. 300/8000 = 3.75% chance of a winner.

And .0375% of winning.

I suppose the pot will be really big by the time someone does actually win it ;)

Inverter: the chance of winning is slightly different from that. It's like this.

Every entry has an *independent*, 1/8000 chance to win, or a 7999/8000 chance of failing.

The chance that every single entry fails is then (7999/8000)^300, and the chance that some entry wins is 1 - (7999/8000)^300 ~= 0.036808

Basically you counted the rare (and nonzero) chance two entries win double, etc.

And the chance to win at least one with three tickets is simply 1 - (7999/8000)^3 ~= 0.00037495

The expected number of tickets to win is simply 8000, so by the time someone wins, the weighted average pot will be... 10K x 8000 = 800 million.

Whoops, missed the fact any sane (if ever) player will necessarily, if picking 3 tickets, pick *distinct* ones.

So the chance of picking the winning ticket from 3 is correctly 0.000375

And the 300 tickets collectively have a chance of 0.0375 to win if everyone colludes and those 300 tickets are all different.

If the numbers picked by the RNG are guaranteed distinct then there are "only" 20C3 or 1140 things. Win from 3 is ~0.0026316; win from 300 random tickets is ~0.23147, and win from 300 colluding tickets is ~0.26316.

If the order of your choices does not matter (ooo trickier) then there are three classes of picks: three distinct, two same, all same. There's obviously only 20 triples with same numbers. There's 20C2x2! or 380 triples with two same (twice since you can double one number or the other *and they're different*), and 1140 with all distinct. You can order the all distincts 3! ways, 3!/2! ways for two same and of course one way with same numbers - note 1140x3! + 190x3!/2! + 20 = 8000 as expected.

I'm ignoring the unmathematically inclined and let's just say it's obvious you'll buy a ticket of three distinct numbers - you get 6 shots at winning instead of 3 or 1. So now one ticket wins on 6/8000, three at 0.00225, three hundred randoms at ~0.20155, three hundred colluding at 0.225. Incidentally three hundred randoms drawn uniformly from the 1540 possible tickets wins on ~0.17706 so there.

As for my transfers, i think i know the rules well enough, and I will not make any money from this game. So for those of you who think I am a cheater... READ THE POST before you say scam, and or such... all monies 100k+ 75% (MIN 100K) to the winner, the rest will be for a powerball drawing.

Expected payout: 850k < 1000k

How about I create a script in VB that will pick a name... that way someone wins everytime... No Matter what the numbers are...?

Changing to Pick 1 Number out of 25 so pick a number from 1-25, your name goes into the Excel Cell that you pick B1:B25 then the formula will choose a random cell. Entrants are allowed to pick the same cell #.
