Why are some people allowed to have animals? (in Off-topic)

... this past week we have seen:

3 ethylene glycol toxicities (antifreeze)
1 caffeine overdose
2 insulin overdoses
1 abuse induced diaphragmatic hernia (presumed... owner said it was kicked by a horse)
3 razor blade foreign bodies, all different owners (razor blades left out, dogs ate 'em)
1 dystocia (troubled labor/pregnancy) in which owner calls 4 hours after her dog was vocalizing and finally decided to call.. I hear a noise on the phone and ask, "mam what is that noise?" .. she replies it was her dog's head hitting the side of the washing machine... I was like move your dog's head away from the dryer please and come in ASAP... she never showed.
1 emergency call where a woman was terrified.... because her cat was scratching a part of his body (left axillary region) that he never scratched before.... terrified.....

Grr and Thanksgiving is next week... hoo-ra

^oh and that lady with the dog with the washing machine... she transitioned to the dryer... and the lady still didn't move her....

forgot this guy who had a Chihuahua mix dog who prolapsed his rectum 5 times... and when he came in, the purse string suture (suture to close the rectum partially) that he was supposed to have removed a week after his last visit... it was still in 2 months later................................... and the dog had fleas and tapeworms.

Well this is just the opposite of those people that spend $100's on cute little outfits for their doggies.

Anyways, I think the point to your story is that Idiots shouldn't be allowed to breed..... :P

just venting I guess.. and at the same time glad I'm in the position to help these guys out from their numbskull owners.
