New Item set... (in General)

How about a complete set to increase XP like so:

Helm of Gaining +.02% xp per every 10 +'s
Shield of Gaining +.02% xp per every 20 +'s


of course if there were such a set, i would also suggest that the set reduced the amount of CB you earn per fight... like you gain the extra XP for losing 50% of the CB you earn. or the other way around

This may be just a stupid idea... but i thought i would post it anyway. :)

This would add more strategy to the game... and i like Rawr's idea... but each item would reduce everything by 12.5% thats 25% for the set.

Also, if you like Rawr's idea, you better be darn sure you're going to increase the bonuses from these items. I mean, come on, a penalty of 12.5% to everything, in exchange for like 8% more exp from battles? That's rough.

Well for starters, it would help get people with an NCB to level faster, and give them a chance against the top players... faster... also would help those characters who want to get to a higher MPR but don't want to start an NCB.

Secondly it would reduce the amount of CB put into the game, and should lower the price of items... although it may raise it, seeing as the supply and demand chain.

Thirdly it could earn Jon more money to upgrade the game more:) not saying that this is how it would be... but yeah.

they could have like a limit, like start with 500 fights and it increases the xp or cb earned by a % like it could start at like a 25% and every 100 fights it could decrease by 5% or something like that

No base AC, and does not give AC, also it would cost cost about 5M to get it to + 10 on the Helm, and 10M to get to +20 or something like that... i dunno.

Remember the old RoE, Durin? There's a reason it was nerfed. Messing with the MPR gain rate is risky.

Well, then after one day of fighting the bonus would be gone and you'd be left with pieces of armor that gave a 12.5% penalty to everything for no reason.

or it could instead start at 1 % and for every + gain .25.

so:

base would be 1%

HoG (0)+0 = 1%
+2 = 1.25%
etc.

but for every point on the item it would effectively lower another stat by the same amount...

or CB.

The RoE was changed to prevent requirements for NCB characters; this just adds it back in all over again.

could also make them non-tradable, but i don't think thats a good idea... :)
