how exactly does it work like i have a steel familiar if i learned it would i hafta have MM for it to work with my minion or how exactly does it work

Whatever -ITEMS- effects that you have on the junctioned minion will transfer onto the familiar. ie. A Helm of Clearsight's effect of hitting one round earlier will transfer on to the junctioned familiar, so both the minion and the familiar will hit one round earlier.

so if i had MM on my minion with junction and a steel familiar it would make my MM more effective sorry some thing seem to be very confusing to me

junction has no effect on the minion itself

But as that may make junction seem weak, your familiar becomes immensely strong as your items become more powerful.
