Is it possible to make an unnaming feature? I'd like to grow my tat ASAP, but I'll miss out on a ton of growth because it's named. (This, or a simple fix so that named tats are treated identically MTLwise)
named tat and unnamed tat are growing at the same speed.
they both grow at the same MTL rate

They will grow at the same rate; however, a named tattoo will not grow at Max tattoo/1.04 or above.
