I noticed in a couple fights where they didn't have dispel magic yet my Antimagic Field still got fizzled is that my own dispel magic doing that?

DM dispels any spell cast on the opposing team.

Yes DM will cancel out your own anti magic field. The only way to use both is using an RoS.

okay thank you, guess I'll be removing antimagic field then.

Well, you can still use both if AMF is higher than DM effect, but AMF will cast at a lower level.
Or, if you have a RoS, then your AMF is partially protected from your DM, exactly the same way like any of your ED are protected from enemy DM.
