My Impaler character can only hit
Demon Dog one or 2 times during ranged combat (My ExBow is at +20 right now).
I know the RoBF grants Evasion, but I was unaware that it granted any defensive DX.
Is it just another case of my extended disconnection from the game making me ignorant or is there something weird going on?
Cheers,

Even real evasion doesn't grant defensive DX.
Also, where's the issue with that? Your CTH at full dex advantage is 156, so you have 176 total CTH. 1-2 hits sounds right to me.
here is the evasion changelog:

when are you hitting, first of ranged or last of ranged?

I am hitting 1-2 times total during ranged and it never seems to be during the same rounds.
I get the full CTH because my DX is close to 150,000 and his DX is under 30.
So unless is Evasion level with the combination of Evasion and RoBF is close to 200, I should be hitting once in every ranged round most of the time.
Of course, I am probably missing something. If so, please let me know what factor I am omitting. I just want to understand the results.

Also, his Evasion is 60% effective because the trained Evasion is surely higher than the DX. :)

Base to hit 56, max DX-based CTH 156, plus 20 from weapon/ToA 176, like Bananco already said.
Regardless of his evasion level (even if above 120), you should still be getting at least a 56 percent chance to hit because you have the DX advantage, meaning you should hit on average about 3 times total.
All I can think of, possibly, is that the evasion multipliers are both a bit bonkers in ranged AND cut down into the area where they're not supposed to.

Thanks for posting the exact numbers Sickone. At 750K MPR, that character probably has an Evasion level high enough to reduce me to base CTH.
I only attacked him a few times so maybe I was just unlucky and Evasion is actually working correctly.
Now I better understand the results. Cheers!
