Can I Move Rentals (in General)

I am trying to retire my largest character so I can stock up on BA at a very small price. However I can not retire it because I have a rental. I tried moving the rental to another character, but that didn't work. Is there any way I can retire my character before the rental ends.

nope you can move the items around but you can't move which character rented what

it's not worth doing what you're trying anyway, there's a low ceiling on how much BA you can save.

In actuality saving up that 1600 ba is key to a good start for any NCB
