does armor lower damage done by DD and on my second minion should i get a third skill or leave as is???

Armor does lower damage done by DD spells, albeit by a smaller margin than it lowers physical damage.

Say you have some armor piece (an Adamantine Cuirass for instance) with 40 base armor and an enchantment (the upgrade) part of +50.
The physical damage is reduced by 40+50=90 AC, but the magic damage is only reduced by 50 AC (the base is not considered for DD reduction purposes).
