Help (in General)

my bow is currently +85 would it be worth it to disenchant the + to like 50 and pump the money into the x so that my mpr lowers and helps my CB and i can do more damage, because i got triple hits with my +26 bow and i still only get triple hits now

Seems like it would be a big waste of money to disenchant it, and you'd be better off just leaving it alone and putting your newly earned money into x

well i bought it with the + i didn't personally do it

It's possible that the +35 gives you the chance of an extra hit, therefore dealing much more damage.

What Slayer said.. The extra + is still very helpful even if it isn't pushing you over the double-triple hit line.

Anyway, disenchanting is a big waste of money period. If you really don't like the bow you'd be better off reselling it than disenchanting.

oh i love my bow lol, i was just wondering if it was worth it or not

Disenchanting gives 50% NW back? I don't remember...

If so, it's not worth it. The +85 versus +50 definitely helps for a second hit, so I think you'd be doing more damage on average with the current setup.

K Seen as you bought the bow from me I also compared it. I DE'd it when I got it from +100 to +85... Really wish I hadn't. The thing is this: those extra +'s aren't that important at lower levels but once you get way up and their are more DB's around it's much better to have + than x.

But the biggest reason to not DE is that with x3800 you won't notice much increase in damage with even another x500. As far as I remember it takes approx 4 times the current x to double your damage all else constant. So I would definetely keep it.

If the size of the bow is affecting your encumbrance levels, then the thing you need to do is train your HP/ST. Because as everybody says you will need that + later on.

And training up HP on a single minion never hurts too much.

Sickone February 3 2009 3:36 AM EST

Well, the third hit on top of the other two from DX/archery ain't that bad either ;)
