help with java/chat (in Off-topic)

I'd like to get back in chat but my chatbox never loads and i get this message,

You do not appear to have Java installed. To run CB chat, install java from java.com.

I then click the linky, i guess my question is what java do i download seeing how there's more than one too choose from.?

assuming you are using windows xp use this http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=27988
reset your browser and then go yo http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
to verify that it has been installed properly
it is a good idea to uninstall any previous version as to not cause any conflicts

Sun should be smart enough to just patch over it, cos they do updates semi-frequently.
