A lot's changed since CB1 (in New players)

I played this game (way too much) for about a year until the great CB1 debacle. I had a solo tank character I was about to sell for $100 when the news of CB2 came out. I got to thinking about this game again, so I re-enlisted and... well... it's different.

It looks like Jonathan's smoothed out the interface. It also looks better organized and slightly more in-depth. But what happened to the community? From what I recall, the chat rooms were constantly scrolling with users (granted, in in "new players"). How has the user-base held up over the years -- has it grown, stayed flat, or declined? The community and forum banter were the best parts of the game... As was maxing out the overly powerful compound bow.

If anyone remembers me, hello again!

Userbase I believe increased from CB1, but since the past year or so has begun to decline.

Welcome though!

Hey Demi i just recently rejoined too i remember you from CB1. Hi. I find CB2 less chat and forum banter but there is still some. The game is better in lots of ways. No store camping/ lots more items etc.. you'll see once you play more. I hope you stay.

Wow, speaking of changes, I just did a forum search for the term "carp" and got very few recent results. And I also realized that I haven't seen the beloved chat bot that would occasionally assault people.

Frodbot is no more... dredge doesn't get on a lot

Welcome back Demi :)

Tal, it was lumpbot back when he played. Either way, there's no more frodbot or lumpbot...

Check it out though, Jon's been working hard to improve the game since you last visited!
