5-7-5 just isn't doing it anymore, so I present to you the Super Haiku 5-7-9-11-9-7-5! :o

Hatchy's gone insane
The need for Haiku rolls in
In an attempt to try something new
Super Haiku was the next logical step
Summer, Winter, Spring, and the other,
Fill my quota for seasons,
And now it's your turn!

250k to the best entry! No particular themes or requirements (the 5-7-9-11-9-7-5 thing is hard enough), winner will be picked by me! :D

indeed hatch is nuts
why am i writing, this sucks
no need to try something new
why even bother with this hybrid haiku
all the seasons spent with your mother
quota for seasons unread
theres something, i tried

deifelns did abound
but it seems as time rolls on
the deifelns did slowly disappear
yet a triplet doth remain in existence
each longing for a large cash influx
their patience will be tested
how long will they wait?

oops, the third line should naturally be:

"the deifelns do slowly disappear"

A rhyming couplet?
Iambic pentameter?
The poetry of artistic form..
Add a syllable, or perchance twenty-nine...
Is depth gained worth simplicity lost?
Extrapolate principle?
Violate the past?


Hatch you have serious issues... and it appears so do I

each one shorter than the last
someday I will watch as they pass by
a magnificent blur of things seen before
waxing and waning like day and night
malignantly repetitive masterpiece
cruelly short and long

This format would definitely provide some awkward sentence
I would, however, take this challenge further then that
By adding three lines, thirteen-fifteen-thirteen
So, now that I finished my counting
My Haiku is nearly done

forgotten by those most new
but that does not stop me from playing
for the people are brilliant and kind to me
in this wonderful game for most ages
I hope it lives on for us
so we remember

when Novice was still a newb
Jonathan made this wonderful world
and with the help of many daring admins
we have what is here today for us
with no money required
we play till time stops
