New Roe Idea (in General)

Ok the whole point of the roe is its effect on exp and how it spreads it. Not many people use it any more as it gives little exp bonus and that's only received if named.

I've heard a lot of people talk about letting the roe grow but what benefit would that achieve so here's my idea. When u equip the roe what it does is absorb all the exp u generate from fighting and places it into the tat. This tat would grow faster than other tats as its level is based on the exp its receiving from fighting transferring into a level. Eg 100k exp earned in fighting translates into 100k levels on the tat.

Now why should we do this u may ask well my idea is that the tat becomes a vessel for exp holding and transporting of exp between minions allowing for greater customisation.

An example to make this more easily understood.

Say u have a 4 minion team
minion 1 has 200k levels
minion 2 has 300k levels
minion 3 has 350k levels
minion 4 has 275k levels

u equip the roe and while fighting generate say 6mil in exp over a few weeks which translates into 6mil levels on the roe.

U want to give your minions a purely even spread of say 350k levels each. Well u give the roe to your first minion go into the train screen and select to bring your levels up to 350k when u click train it removes the levels off the roe and translates it back into exp used to raise the levels on minion 1 up to 350k levels.

Do this to all minions till u get your even spread of 350k levels. The remaining roe levels/exp can be split among the remaining minions.

This also means u can have a minion with 0 levels holding the roe but can pass the roe onto your largest minion and give it all the exp u have earned from fighting.

Anyway any idea or opinions on this.

While i like the ability to use a RoE without sacrificing gear, i don't much like the tat-placement meaning nothing part...

The RoE still owns. It lets you hire three killslots and go single minion for as long as you want, then focus your experience on, say, a PL wall, then focus it on two enchanters. That's the strategy I'm running, and it's pretty effective. Having the killslots really helps any single minion strategy, and honestly it'll save me tens of millions of dollars over the course of my character since I won't have to hire minions when they cost 50M.

trust me m8 when u get up the levels you'll c how limited the roe is further up and its only real use is for people who don't care bout losing and just want to reorganise there exp distribution. An Roe will never compete in worthiness to one of the other greater tats. I don't mind using the roe cause i have a mate leveling steeds for me, if he wasn't doing that for me i would not be sticking to the roe.

I agree with Borgin on this one. The whole point of a RoE IS to be able to customize your characters better (and also, in the process, have killslots).

I don't see why it should be changed.

Since the RoE specifically doesn't grow in levels, it's clearly not meant for high-end use. It's for getting you to 3M MPR on a 4-minion NCB with 2.5M of that MPR stuck on one minion, and from there, you use a different rune or tattoo. Like I said, it saves you the headache of hiring minions later, or of having a terribly diluted team. And the RoE does its job very well, unlike... say... the ToE. ;)

RoE>All!

I was using a ToE well above my MTL for some time during the start of my NCB. When I tried a RoE, I was still able to beat most of my fightlist, and my overall challenge bonus went up about 30%. That's a HUGE difference, and lets me focus exp on my tank while still having 2 enchanters with sizable spells backing me up. And for people saying the RoE isn't good because it doesn't "compete" with normal tats: With strategic use of this RoE i rented, I should be able to come out of this ncb with far better exp concentration than I had originally hoped and hopefully with a significantly higher MPR as well, due to my increased challenge bonuses during my early months and a much more powerful tank minion in the final months of my NCB.

And let's not forget how much money I'm going to save by being able to hire my 4th minion pretty soon and not have to hire at the end of my NCB for 20 mil, and I'll still be able to keep the exp concentration that's so important on higher level teams.

This would lead to bad things => selling your RoE full of EXP to say the person at the top for example.

(If you don't allow transfers of full RoEs, what's to stop someone from just transferring their character and back.)
