Alright guys, I have an argument paper to write in a couple weeks and I need a topic. It can be about anything. I want something that would be fairly controversial, but not too mainstream.
P.S. Please don't go on to a sidebar debate about one of the topics mentioned. Also, if you want to just cm me your idea that is fine too.

We should use Fission Power (I don't know if the US does or does not, but Australia doesn't, and should)
The previous administration should/should not be charged with War crimes. Move back 60 years - If they did what they did then, they would have been without any question.
Is the Jury system fundamentally broken? When selecting the Jury, people who aren't fitting for both lawyers are picked - Hardly an accurate representation of the population.

Oh, that is a GOOD one, Bast!
It is better to have loved and lost ...
what's after that? I am interested to know.

Usage of drugs in accordance to one's will.
Or: How usefull are drugs to one's understanding of the inner workings of one's brain and thoughts.
Controversial alright. AND relevant, if you ask me.
The key word is: Willingly

Analyze the actions of the Germans during the Holocaust. What caused them to perpetrate the Holocaust? (I recently wrote a paper on this).
Or: Respond to the claims given forth by Daniel Goldhagen in "Hitler's Willing Executioners".
Just some food for thought.
^ Good subject for thought.
Oh my gosh Mitt, I've been rolling around that idea in my head for a couple of weeks.
