Bugged Tutorial (in General)
I finished all the objectives in the tutorial, but at the top of my screen it says, "Cool! You have earned enough experience to Train your Minion. Click on the Train link in the Active Character section."
The thing is, I've been training my minion for days now o_O
Ignore it, the tutorial didn't help me at all. It's terribly.
Yea i have had this.
"Now we're going to recruit another Minion so you can train a mage. Click the 'Recruit a new Minion' button at the bottom of this page."
Since i have started and i have 4 minions.

I agree that there's a flaw. After I hired a third minion (that I didn't want), I fired one. The tutorial corrected itself after that.

Is there anyway to get out of the tutorial without spending all my money on a third minion that I would fire immediately after? I didn't even want the second one..

I assume the tutorial prompts will disappear after a while. The tutorial is a wonderful addition, but you can figure things out without it. I really think it's a nice way to keep people coming back, and if anything, I wish it could be continued to include more strategy tips.

It's pretty annoying, but I did learn a bit of browsing-tips when there were monetary rewards.

lets just say that after you go through your tutorial usually the 1st thing you would do after is start a new character which hasnt been influenced by a poor tutorial which forces you into basically creating a team that you dont want

...Or we could just fix the tutorial itself. It has been bugged for a while now. Not to mention it does a poor job of explaining the game, while forcing you to hire when you don't want to.
Excuses are always brought up: "there are more important things to fix."
But, my argument is this: "There is nothing more important to a failing community than new members."
Fix the tutorial; make it better.

I suppose after you play a game for years and years you become a little dull to the fact that newbies don't want to waste their time paying outstanding amounts of money for minions they don't want; starting over doesn't sound too appealing either.

We don't become dull to it. None of us have the ability to change it. Most of us have been requesting that the tutorial be revamped for some time now.
I was stuck in the the tutorial for a few days. I was forced to spend a few 100k on another minion I didn't want.

Why is this a big deal. just keep plying how you want. i never finished the tutorial. It just goes away after so long. No need to complete it.
Thak, you are FORCED to buy another minion, I had to spend over 400k on another minion, just to complete the tutorial

I know, my point is the tutorial doesnt have to be finished.
Way i look at it is you have a better understanding of the game then some already, and your to advanced for that part of the tutorial. So if you want to complete it you have to make the sacrafice. Instead of trying to milk it.
If it was originally designed to be milked then yeah fix it.
The tutorial doesn't have to be finished, but it'll always be there. Only finishing it will make it disappear.

The problem is it's designed such that it works when people listen to it, and when people don't listen to it exactly it fails.
If you are stuck on hiring a minion, you might try creating a new character, so hiring a minion doesn't cost you; just a guess though.
