CB Website Themes? (in General)

What happened to our skinnable CB themes we were supposed to get years ago? :\ The last time anyone mentioned anything, Pixel Sage was supposed to be working on it. But I haven't heard anyone mention anything since. Wut happened?

new GUI, old themes no longer working and making new themes is rather hard.

Pretty sure the idea of 'themes' was scrapped, we've only the default theme now.

Jon's stated it's too much effort to make the engine themeable, which is unfortunate.

Well, I mean there are default cb css files that could be overridden if one so chose.

So really, it could be given to us, only not in a pretty form like the theme editor from CB1 or early CB2?

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the theme editor.

For those who saw me sign into chat for a second, I left because my internet cut =P. Anyways, regarding themes. I thought you all knew by now, but Jon decided to scrap the theme feature ages ago. Trust me, I've tried to convince him to continue with it, but it seems it's a no-go. In the meantime. I'm contemplating on a job offer from Tapulous...

Would a GM script be able to accomplish this or is there a simpler way to override the default css?

There's no 3rd party thing that anyone could do? Modifying the CSS and overlaying? So it's not done through CB. Is that a pipe dream or possible?
