It's because it has no finite ending, and the promise of letting you rise in power...forever.

CB, in a sentence, right there.

I think it's because it has a simple premise but has so much detail involved in it.

the game has many reasons, but to top it off with the off chance that you can even make like 2.50 USD from playing a game can be attractive for some,i know USD is what got me interested (back in cb1 with 10/mill), but its not what kept me interested and coming back.

the community first and foremost, be honest most of you have one close internet friendship with someone from CB at one point or another.

as mentioned earlier, the lack of an ending, the chance to always grow and perhaps one day (maybe with lack of activity from the top) you could be a top player

the ability to set and reach goals, everyones happy when they make their 1st 100k,1m MPR and so forth, telling yourself you want this set of gear and then going out and earning it

to name a few :p

You forgot the 100's of strategies to try out and think about :)

Yep. I'm a level grinding nut. This game satisfies my grinding addiction so much that I haven't been buying or playing as many console games as I used to for the last five years.

The fact that BA works on a timer doesn't help much. I can't tell you how much stuff I've neglected in all this time because "I don't want to miss BA!"

Demigod April 1 2009 11:53 PM EDT

Let's see... It's a casual strategy game that can fill in your down time by burning through BA. The next thing you know, you're glued to the monitor while you search through forums, auctions, and random links. You can become part of a decent community and enjoy the RPG strategy as well.

But the main reason has to be the eye-splitting, cutting edge graphics.

The Graphics are leet of course.

This game is not meant to be understood, much like most things in the world, just play it and deal with it. :)

Ha!

I'm hukked on grafix.

Err...

Wait. :/

...Yeah, it's the graphics. That, and the strategy. I love strategy. But the graphics... man, the graphics!

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] April 2 2009 7:11 AM EDT

The community is awesome, the strategies are awesome, and Jon powdered the game with some electronic form of crack. ;)

WoW is just warcraft, 3D, with essence of Carnage Blender added in.
