A week or two ago Novice and I were thinking of making a contest involving the NHL playoffs. If there is enough appeal Novice will go ahead.
Here is how it would work (Still figuring out details)
For each series each contestant picks the winner
Whom ever has most correct picks at end wins (could do money for 1st and 2nd) that's to be worked out when Novice posts the contest.
Anyways Please post.
Any one experienced with this sort of thing who wants to help would get a nice bonus!

I'm too busy to set up a proper bracket, but here's an idea like the NCAA tournament brackets:
Where each round is worth the same amount of points (but since there are less games, each game prediction in future rounds is worth more)
Sounds interesting but my knowledge of such things is limited.
I will wait for more info before making a decision.
I am also trying to find a nice Bracket.
As i am hosting 1 for my buddys any help would be nice
I have been searching and searching the net

"I am also trying to find a nice Bracket."
I don't see what the problem is. I found one on my first search.
Click: Bracket
There's no need to thank me, I'm just glad to help!

The problem with NHL playoff brackets is that the #1 seed is assured of playing the lowest seeded team, which could shuffle the order of the brackets if there are any upsets.
I don't think so i think its set already
Check this site. to see how it will unfold.

"In the Conference Semifinals and Conference Finals, teams are re-seeded according to the same criteria as the First Rounds, the highest remaining seeds play against the lowest remaining seeds."
Mitt is correct
So we would have to reorder the Brackets after each round and get
predictions for each round.
I did see an alternative way to do it in my search as well
Check out these rules
