google tracert and use that to see if you are having issues and where.

in the command window type: ipconfig /release then when it clears type ipconfig /renew might just need to reset your ip

Then i would try power cycling my modem. yours in this case :)

Assuming you are using a windows OS

Internet issue could be a multitude of things, will try and narrow it down for you
