I think they're pretty rad, but considering I own a DS and a very good gaming laptop (Doom3 on High quality? woot), I see no reason to own something "in between".
Very good for people who aren't happy with the DS's game selection, though. Definitely.

They're in the final stages of Development Tal. Meaning they're still working out the bugs and the first batch was one of their beta releases. Plus, they don't have enough people ordering to just have them mass supplied so they have to order them in batchs that make it cost efficient in those regards. Heck, the price they're selling them alone has to be costing them a few hundred bucks.
The next batch (with a touchscreen, I believe) should be here at around the end of May.
Well, I have no laptop, and I do not like the DS's game selection. In fact, I'm trying to sell it. ;)
