Kurt Cobain (in Off-topic)

Well, i'm big on the band Nirvana,and have been since I was very young, over the years I've studied Kurts' "suicide" and I was wondering what CB's opinion on his death is, suicide or murder?

IMO I believe it was murder, unsure of who did it, but I do believe Courtney took part in it somehow.

why do you think that?

I thought it was clearly suicide. But I don't follow the band, as I'm not a fan.

I think I can see how you'd call it murder, though. If I slept with Courtney Love, I'd want to do the same. Blame her. :)

Who knows.

1. The biggest thing with anyone that believes that it was murder, the so called "suicide note" if you read it, you don't really find anything suicidal until the end of it, which is where you can notice differences in the ways the letters are made.

2. There was a piece of paper found at the Cobain residence later that had what appeared to be someone trying to copy his handwriting.

3. The fact that he would have died very shortly after injecting all of that heroin, how would he have the strength to hold a shotgun, let alone pull the triger.

4. Kurt was going to stop doing concerts and making CD's and such (the reason for the note IMO), and giving up a 9million dollar deal that Courtney wanted him to do.

5. Supposedly, he was going to divorce Courtney Love.

I'm sure there is more evidence towards it being murder and not suicide, but this is all I know at the moment.

Another reason I made this was to see other peoples evidence on the opposing opinion / maybe more towards this opinion.

The difference in the handwriting was twofold.
1. the last part was written after even more heroin.
2. He wrote it at the last moment on an uneven surface, probably the tiles of the garage (was it a garage or shed? I don't remember) where he was known to be before the suicide.

It has been stated many times by more credible sources that a regular user would have had enough control to commit the act.

It was clearly, clearly suicide.

Oh, and for the record, I remain a huge Nirvana fan.

If it was clearly suicide, people wouldn't still be debating it on an online forum years after.

You overestimate people. They still debate whether the moon landing was a hoax as well, and the JFK assassination, and that "spare change" 9/11 conspiracy crap, and a host of other nonsense as well.

Lord Bob, who knows when he wrote it? he could have easily written it at an earlier time, and still, how do you explain the piece of paper which looked as if someone was trying to copy his handwriting? also, he was dead for 3 days or so (not exactly sure) in that greenhouse which is located right near his house, where Courtney Love was most if not all of the time he was still missing. Also, back to the shotgun, there were no finger prints on it, as if it had been wiped clean.

I can't believe people still don't think the hole... err Courtney shouldn't be rotting in jail. Even if she wasn't responsible for or complicit in his murder she's still the source of all the suck in the universe. Good junkies die young, bad ones linger.
