NCB (in General)

I am thinking of doing a NCB run to grow my tattoo. Would it be worthwhile to start with a base, train till MTL goes above my current tat and switch, then do a second run doing the same thing and sell the 2 lower level tat? Do people still buy low level tats?

good idea all around, and yes a lot of n*bs will buy low

imo use named roe

Once I get my debt paid off, I'm going to be looking to insta-up my RoS, so I'd say it'd be a good decision.

Lots of people look for insta's and stuff at lower levels to stay at max efficiency.

I am actually thinking of using sickone's strat, except with Hal instead of ToA. That way I can concentrate my money into repayment + more forging, and get an extra kill slot with decay. Only problem is that I think I might want an AoJ that I have no idea how it works.

Why does it matter if it is named, Rawr, now that it doesn't give any bonus? :P

when my nub runs out i'm going to start a NCB and use a RoE until i reach the level of my current tat. Of course im going to switch to a RoS strat after that =/ I think the idea of using a Roe instead of growing a diff tat until you can switch to the one you are trying to level seems more worthwhile in the long run.

Named RoE gives a 4% bonus =p actually.

i would guess that most strats with a tat could best the 4% bonus a named roe would give over their life with better challenge bonuses.

levelling up a tat and selling it off has always seemed like a no brainer, excpet for possibly your final mpr run, for that one having a mtl tat for most of it would likely help enough with challenge bonuses to make it a better option.

AdminTal Destra May 6 2009 8:00 PM EDT

dudemus if they make it to 6/20 there is no challenge bonuses so why waste the effort?

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] May 6 2009 8:02 PM EDT

no negative challenge bonus, you can still get positive though.
