"If you have a wireless network you can share the files and then access them on your ps3. No downloading any programs and no cords either."

From what I just read if you have a 60 GB PS3 that should be possible, but with the 40 GB ones that's not possible.

I guess that means you have to use your network to share from your pc. Remember though this is all stuff I've only googled, I don't actually have a PS3.

Found someone who explained how to share. I'm not sure if you have to use Windows Media Player or not.

"yes you can access files such as videos and music straight from your pc's hd on your ps3 using windows media player 11 all you need to do is open up windows media player 11 click the little down arrow just under library and a drop box will come down and click "Media Sharing" once you click it there will be a window asking share media on you network make sure that box is check "click okay" then another box will appear and at the bottom it will ask allow deny customize and just above that will be white in the middle with a few unknown devices depending on how many systems on online and on your network but if its just your ps3 on your network then thats what it will be just click allow and there you go you pc and ps3 are now connected but inorder to do this the ps3 cannot be in game all it has to do is sit the online doing nothing once you click allow you should see a new icon on your ps3 under videos music and pic folders and there you go watch listen and view but it will only show what it in the " My Music " folder or windows media player 11's library if this was a horrible explanation of how to do this just email me at blackhandofdeth@gmail.com"

If that doesn't work, you can burn a CD.
