combatting SFBM/EF (in General)

What items/spells/skills/equipment/tattooes/stats would you need to combat a dispel/fireball mage?

AMF, MGS (and possibly an EH) and a RoBF.

Splittign it across multiple minions (all with MGS) and using PL can lower the incoming damage.

But it really all depends on your strategy, and what/how you can fit into your build.

The help guide is so detailed that I understood what the abbreviations mean.

fireball doesn't like guardian Angel very much, but since the other team will probably have DM you'll need a Rune of Solitude.
