Wow So this is how the other half live :O (in General)

So I'm spending the weekend out of town.

My girlfriend and I are spending the weekend at her aunt's house for my girlfriend's birthday/weekend...

Wow I don't even know what to say!!! It's like a house on cribs! They said they spent about 2 million on the property, I don't know if that means just the land, or the house too (they build the house) I only know what they've offered in small talk as I don't want to be rude, but they are very very nice people.

I'm just in shock to how nice some people have it! They own a beautiful house overlooking the beach in Gig Harbor (near Seattle/Tacoma) and it's so beautiful here! I think I'm never going to leave! The view is to die for, huge walk in showers that are like minature bathrooms on their own... just everything is so nice, I don't even know what to say!

I'll try to take some pictures and or video so you guys can see, but wow I think I just decided that $50-100k a year isn't enough and that I need to strive for a better lifestyle because one day here is easily the best day I've had all year.

I'll upload pictures sometime over the next few days, but now I've got to get ready to go into Seattle.

That area is beautiful. I lived in a town about 30 minutes from Tacoma called Port Orchard for the first 7 years of my life. My dad would take me to Seattle and the Gig Harbor area every now and then. We even went to see a few Mariners games, I am not really much into baseball though. I hope to move back there after college. Glad to hear that you are having so much fun!

"and it's so beautiful here! I think I'm never going to leave!"

That's what I said about the Philippines. I lived like a king down there and only spent $700.

Jir I live in University Place, Right next to Tacoma and very close to Gig Harbor, where my Grandmother, and 2 Aunts/Uncles live.

"That's what I said about the Philippines. I lived like a king down there and only spent $700."

Just curious, why did you leave then?

Little Anthony May 23 2009 4:45 PM EDT

700$ ran out :) (per day lol)

Lord Bob May 23 2009 4:57 PM EDT

"Just curious, why did you leave then?"

Had to return to work eventually.

And no Anthony, I did not run out of money.

And no, I did not mean $700 per day. I mean I spared absolutely no expense and still only spent that much all week.

Cube May 23 2009 4:59 PM EDT

Whoops, I misinterpreted that as living there for a while.

I really want to visit the Philippines though.

I was kind of expecting this story to involve cross-dressing to be honest.... ah well.

Lies Loch! Washington is so much better than Canada Ehh! I live about 70-80 miles west of Seattle and I have lived in Washington most of my life ^_^ Love it here and have been to Seattle on many occasions. Beautiful over there especially by the bay!

I've only been to Seattle once, while it was beautiful, I don't remember much of the trip because I was drugged do to a surgery (the reason I was in Seattle to begin with). Wouldn't mind going again as long as my cognitive skills were functional.
