wow! that is all I have to say. Poor eminem!!
for all those who missed it:
basically Bruno (sasha baron cohen) flies in with angel wings and no pants (or underwear) and lands right on top of eminems face...needless to say em was a little peeved.

Absolutely hysterical. I just watched it with the volume this time. And it was a hundred times better.
(Also. Should be moved to off-topic)

If it was staged, it was in serious poor taste.
If it wasn't staged, I am seriously worried about somebody's kneecaps.
Well it was just taken down.

i doubt it was staged. Em left the event and didn't return and a couple of the announcers afterward were mentioning his look of disgust and his ranting as he left.
Also EM has a major reputation as a homephobe.
It definitely wasn't staged. If I was eminem I would of done the same thing.
Sharing my name with this character is going to be the death of me when he gets known around here.
Be damned, Cohen.

And if that stunt wasn't staged, there's a pretty direct word for it -- assault. That was completely uncalled for, and homophobia has entirely nothing to do with it. If good-ole Bruno had done that to a woman, he'd already ge getting processed right now.
Sometimes I really get disgusted with this whole "world" thing. People are so incredibly, indelibly stupid.

If it wasn't staged there must have been a LOT of planning to pull it off. Like, 1) Knowing his seat, 2) rehearsing the drop with a wire... that isn't easy
I can't see where a publicity stunt can even be considered with that unless they have some sort of retal scenario planned.
Either way, I think it was gross, and Carmen Diaz smiling about it the whole time really says something about her.

I think it says something about "stars" in general, kevlar. It's a little ecosystem in there, she couldn't do anything BUT smile. She had no way to know what was real, what wasn't, who was in on it, yada yada yada.
That's why it is all so idiotic and unnecessary. Pure sensationalism.

Seriously. That had nothing to do with homophobia. That had everything to do with being absolutely disgusting.
Everyone is so ready to accuse someone who's famous of being something bad. I'd have taken it A LOT worse, personally. And as another said, if it had been a woman..... It wouldn't have ended so well.

guys...it was supposed to be gross. And honestly I find it ironic that the stunt was pulled on eminem who is largely the grossest rapper on the air.
I found it hilarious not gonna lie...mainly because it was so shocking and out of left field
If you turn up your volume while listening to the clip, if you can still find it, you can actually hear "Bruno" grunting as Em hits him before getting his "crew" to pull the guy off of his lap. And I agree, I'll be honestly surprised if Bruno doesn't get beat by someone in the next week, and if it wasn't planned, there will more than likely be a lawsuit.
Plus, as others have said, this kind of a stunt would -never- have been pulled on any of the women in the audience.

Shouldn't be taken too seriously, it was rather funny, who cares of the real percussions if it wasn't staged? It was a prank, got the laughs it deserved, we don't need to brood over how much trouble they'll get in.

I just saw it, there are new links up on youtube.
I laughed. Out loud.
I don't care if it was staged or if Em is seriously peeved.
All I care about is I laughed. :D
that also got taken down due to copyright issue with Viacom or something.

Article here. Just to clear up any confusion. The incident was staged. Which ironically makes me feel even more uneasy about the whole thing than I was before. =/
