I was bored the other day so I decided to see what I could come up with in the strategy department.
Minion 1
1/3 HP
Max MM
BoE
CoI
BoF
NS
HoC
MS
AoL
Minion 2
Max DM
Halidon Familiar
AoJ
BG
HoC
BoM
DB
I am basically trying to destroy everything in the first 6 rounds with a decent sized MM and my Halidon, and then I have a huge amount of DM to take care of AMF and GA. Any comments to better my strategy are welcome!

If you goal is to win in ranged, I'd go with FB over MM.
FB doesn't win against anyone. Ever.
And DM doesn't destroy other peoples' AMF.

I'm running a ranged party right now with an Archer at the helm, a Fire Familiar in the middle, and a MM Mage in the back. While it's not exactly fair to compare the FF and the MM Mage, I will say that I agree with the cracks that MM hits "like a wet noodle." If it weren't for some of my fights going to melee, it would have been ditched a while back.
I would go with an AoI that way depending on the size of your DBs and Hal you should be fairly confident in dodging arrows and it would help your mage survive a lot longer.

It may not be a good sample size, but when I was around 1m MPR I used to get HAMMERED by MM mages until I got phantom link. Once it gets past the DD penalties it can do a fair amount of damage. AND that's with me casting at a .2 or more AMF.
