Well, that's about it for me. :( (in Off-topic)

This game just isn't what it should be for the amount of effort it needs. Almost halfway through my NCB and when you are on as much as I am, you can really see how the game degrades around you, slowly but surely.

When my friends ask, "Hey Jeremy, what are you doing, what is that, how does it work?" etc etc. I used to answer, "Oh it's this community I'm a part of." Lately, I find myself thinking, just this stupid game I'm obligated to play.

It shouldn't be like that.

What I liked most about this game was the people who play it. We've got grammer nazis, obamaphiles, bushies, poker stars, high school kids, college kids, programmers, engineers, religious types, spiritual types, rich, poor, fat, ugly, smart, pretty, I mean we literally hit every end of the spectrum and here in CB land, none of it really matters.

This game is no longer fun to me. It seems this game punishes the players who stick around, while rewarding new players. That seems a little backwards. It's like joining World of Warcraft and being given a level 85, because you're new, and everyone who has played for years is stuck on 80...

I dunno, I just find too many reasons to not stay than reasons to stay. I think the straw that broke the camels back was when my post was deleted twice in off-topic.

I see no grounds for that post to be deleted. It's alright to "argue" with Ranger in his threads? Where people get butt-hurt, personal, insulting, really fighting and lashing out at each other... I mean it's to the point where you can go to any post ranger makes and find the trolls lining up to take shots!

but somehow it's not ok to "argue" with him in my own? Where the mood would no doubt stay light and friendly? Ranger and I have always gotten along, mostly always agreed on things, not to mention my post was an attempt at mild humor and to lighten to mood. That's not ok?

Anyways, I just found it humorous, I guess being a real part of the community is shunned.

I'll likely finish my NCB, repay my debt, and sell out, unless the people in this game get a clue.

I think I now understand why people multi NUBs to sellout at the end.

I see that the posts were not deleted, just moved to a hidden forum.

I was trying to move your post to Debates, as that was where it belonged. I deleted the duplicate.

And, debates isn't "hidden" at all.

It's a moot point NS, I fully understand why you moved it, but from my perspective at the time of posting, when you click on "forums" and the list comes up, the debate topics do not show up. Until a few moments ago I had completely forgotten that the debates forum even existed.

It appeared to me that the post was deleted, which blew my mind. The first post, I thought maybe I messed up and it didn't get posted. The second post I saw, then refreshed and it was gone, making me assume it was deleted.

Add Debates to your forums list on your settings page.

Hey Jir don't get too down. I think the community is in a bit of a reorganization stage. There is too much disagreement and not enough agreement of solutions. I get frustrated many times when I suggest changes to the game and find myself facing 25 people who insist on disagreeing or changing my ideas and maybe one person who says "ya I like it lets do it" and thats it. The game really does need a new format for suggesting changes and debating in game topics. No player suggested changes are implemented because everybody insists on disagreeing.

The game does NOT punish old players, that is an extremely silly thing to say. Lots of oldies are still here..

I think you're being a bit emotional here, yes we know some people are idiots and others argue for fun, so stay away from it. I barely touch the the threads with more than 30 posts purely cos I'd be reading my stupid debate and find my time more valuable. If you want to add something, focus on something properly? Make the wiki better, help improve the tutorial, brainstorm strats.

So the main reason for you leaving is because the post was "Deleted" when it was moved, so you might want to reconsider leaving if that was your main point. There was no abuse, it was moved to the right place, sort of your fault for not knowing a whole forum existed.

When I try to run a NCB, I also find myself viewing this as a stupid game that I feel obligated to play.

I too am on the verge of quitting. I get my money rewards taken away for these supposed drops with which I've spent tons of BA on trying to get. Plus there is no way I can keep up with all the people spending tons of USD on this game.

I also don't know if I even have time for CB because I now have a full time job and I am finding it harder and harder to find the time to burn my ba and stay competitive.

Giving excuses like that is ridiculous. Signing on 3 or 4 times a day for 5 minutes each is not tasking. A lot of people do more than a full-time job and are on here a lot.
