I will answer questions however.

Okay your on a Island with a Fox, a rabbit, a head of lettuce, and a small boat.

Object is you have to get all 3 intact back to the other side in order to feed your family

Rules.
1. You have to use the boat.
2. You can only take 1 item at a time on the boat.
3. If you leave the Fox alone with the rabbit the fox will eat it, if you leave the rabbit with the lettuce the rabbit will eat it, the fox and lettuce are okay to leave alone.

This is truly one of the classics. There's a variant that's perhaps more well known, where you have to cross the river with a fox, a goose and a bag of corn.
