Wow that is really nice...
I think I have only seen a hummingbird stationary once, nice snag...
Beautiful picture and an extraordinary bird.
Speaking of, does anyone know what animal this is?

Fex, I'd bet money that's a gopher or prairie dog, simply because I don't know what else it could be. Any idea on envorinment? Latitude?
what kind of camera did ya get loch?
Dudemus: Click the picture and look on the bottom right to see what camera it is, click "More properties" to find out more aobut it.
Sutekh: Click the picture and then click the "map" link, I added GPS coordinates to almost all my pictures.
I live in the middle of a forest as some people know, and my girlfriend just got a hold of a very very very nice camera.
Where I'm going with this, is I see hummingbirds every single day as we have a hummingbird feeder outside of a window, and I will try to snag some nice pictures now that I have something to take a picture of :D
I'll post here once I get around to it.
Also, nice picture very nicely done, and a beautiful bird at that!

I did not however have a feeder to lure them in however :-)
"did not"... so now you do... if you'd stop filling it with hot damn you might attract something besides drunks!
