4th Annual Carnage Blender Fantasy Football League (in Off-topic)

Is there any interest in a CB FF league? It was my first time playing in a fantasy football league last year and I had fun. However, I think due to there being no buy in, people didn't really put effort into the league.

I'm not sure how much knowledge is needed to run a fantasy league, but if no one is willing to manage it then I will.

Assuming that there is interest, does anyone have suggestions? We need to figure out which service to use, which league rules and points to use, and the buy-in amount. Also, when to set the draft.

I will join, but I can only play if Defensive picks are just Team DEF and not selective positions..

@ Tal - Probably $1m - $2m. That would be a pretty nice pot. We can set up a weekly NFL line and take a percentage from that for the Fantasy football pot like last year.

@ Lefty - We played with Team Defenses last year.

That's what I meant by the weekly NFL line. That site he found was pretty cool and made it a lot easier for him to maintain. I tried going back to the site, but it isn't hosted anymore or something.

If the buy in is too high I can loan a few people the money on a no intrest payplan. As I said before last year there wasn't a buy in, therefore only half the people playing put genuine effort into it.

10 days left until the regular season kicks off. If you don't have the money to pay up front, the NFL season is 17 weeks. We can arrange a pay-plan.

I think the buy-in is the deciding factor for a lot of people, so to clarify, I think it should be set at $1m. I know all of you guys can raise $1m in 17 weeks. That's only $58,823 CBD a week.

I also think we should go with ESPN for the fantasy football. This is the system I played in last year and it seemed to work great.

I'm interested but i've never done it before. Could you post a link to the site? Maybe give me a little how to on how to get started also would be nice :).
