More Strategy (in General)

So, I'm back again with a million questions.

I still can't make a complete decision on what I wanna run. I really wanna go back later and have a real tank instead of UC. It's working well for now, but I'm starting to slow down.

I was wondering, if I maybe tried an Archer build would it by any chance assist me. I'm not sure if my tank is even large enough seeing as I started as a 3 minion team. I'd like to give it a try anyways.

If anyone has any input that'd be wonderful.

Oh I forgot to add. I was wondering if maybe getting an RoE would help with my tank dilemna. I can reink ToA, but I kinda don't wanna be dependant on one.

No input...

What kind of archer?

If you'd be using an ELB, you might just be better off using a Halidon.

RoBF and Msker is what this character does, but as a single minion has a lot more XP to work with on the tank. http://www.carnageblender.com/inspect_opponent.tcl?opponent_id=53987&opponent_name=Priestess+of+the+Moon

Ya i wanted to use a ELB. I just like the idea of it better.

I kinda wanted to ditch the RoBF.

The only reason why that character Cube described is that is build as a single tank and has a huge tattoo.

The RoBF is a great source of damage (if its large enough) and is a great way to reduce DD damage. (I like the RoBF :) )

Anyway, your character looks pretty much solid, with UC as a main damage dealer and a RoBF as backup. Your big problem is the size of your tank and the size of tattoo, both (obviously) too small. You can use a RoE for while to build that tank (and lose a lot of targets on your fight list) or retrain it into an archer and use a ToA. In any case I would advice to build up your main damage dealer, be a robf or tank, before you do any major retrains.

I want to turn it into a tank team. The RoBF is a bit lower than my max but only like 200k (can't afford to insta atm) I was thinking the RoE to pump the tank because I'd like not to be tattoo reliant I guess you could say. I don't really like tattoo all that much, but since i started 3 minions its kinda hard to get around it at this point I feel.

Well I rephrase that, the only tattoo I would use is a ToA, I was just curious if there was a way to do this without it. I don't mind the ToA, it's just that if I could do this without ever having to insta up a tattoo that'd be nice.

You can run a tank without a tattoo but to be honest with you, even with the cheaper tank option of UC, it can still add up in cost, because you really need to make sure that all bonus items are as highly upgraded as you can afford and even better named.

You don't have to do that, but if you're going to compete with tattoos then it certainly helps. Until I added a second minion and a tattoo my tank was without tattoo. People will tell you that you can't compete without a tattoo, and that's not entirely true. But what you need to do is make sure your damage dealer is the biggest and baddest and toughest. UC kind of loses that a little. You will need to make sure your UC level is high.

An archer will definitely help, and probably speed up your climb, so you need to consider that.

Going RoE is an option, but you're going to need what the other minions give you, so I'd advise against it.

Remember for a real tank: you can't ever have too much strength, and dex is hugely useful for cutting down the enemy's ability to hit you.

If you are going to run a 'real' tank I'd advise you to start sooner rather than later in order to build up whatever weapons you are going to use.

You see the other reason that a tattoo isn't necessary to compete is that if you are using a tank, weapon NW can trump tattoo if that NW is large enough.
