dynamics of soc & va question (in General)

i have been trying to tell if this works but as of yet i am unsure. on jigster i have the junction jiggy with an soc and vampiric aura trained. when the shield flashes will that additional damage increase the hit points gained from the vampiric aura?

i had missed it in the wiki, but see it now:

The damage returned is added into the weapon attack so such modifiers as BL or VA also work with the returned damage. ; )

Yeah, I added that in there myself after using the SoC with my jiggy.

If I may hijack this thread:
My VA is well above my MPB, and yet I can never get over 34% leech (sometimes dropping to as much as 27%)
Am I missing something?

As for the dropping part, are you accounting for DM?

VA is screwy at low MPRs.

DM is not a factor.
I've gone against the same opponent a few times and got wildly different leeches. It may well be the low MPR, I am about 30k at the minute, my VA is 10k and my highest blow is around 2k - generally 1 - 1.5k
I'm just wondering if I'm wasting XP pumping it into something that's saturated already

As you can see, leech varies from 11% to 38%
The only advice I need is: Should I be putting more into VA, or is it saturated?
By the wiki, My 10k VA should last me until my MPB goes over that, and yet with a difference of 27% in the results it's hard to see whether that's correct or not

It is just due to the fact that your damage is so low. Once you deal more damage it will stabilize.
