Strategy Idea (in General)

Alright I have a plan for my next NCB. I got really bored with this strategy, it's not complex enough. So I have a plan for the next one that has its ups and downs. So can I get some tips.

Minion 1
1/2 AS
1/2 DM

AoI or AoL
BoE
Corn
Spellboosters

Minion 2

A weak tank meant for the use of an Exbow to weaken tanks.

HP DX and ST

some GA

AoI
EC
HoC
TSA
Beleg's
Displacement boots maybe EB's but it's more of a kill slot just to weaken tanks.
not sure if I should bother with a shield.

Minion 3
Mageseeker
MoD or VB can't decide
AoI
HoC
RoE- To help with the xp dillution because this is the main tank.
Beleg's
EB's
BoM if I pick VB, SoC with the MoD

Minion 4
HoD
Adam
CML's
Tulka's
SC
AoAC
MS

All Health just a straight wall

Alright so I figure that I got tanks weakened with the Exbow guy. Probably can take out mages with the main tank pretty quickly. From there I just pick the rest of their team off. I don't really see any issues with this time other than high NW and RoBF teams. I really can't figure out how to combat with those teams other than armor and faster killing weapons.

So rip this strategy apart and tell me the flaws. The RoE will float around a lot but mainly it'll be used to pump the tank

well, you know, Dispel Magic takes a lot of xp in it to be really effective... lets says you have the first minion with 100% DM so to be more effective(and less xp dilution..) and your second minion could crush remaining hp left from opponent ablative shield. There, you can choose to inflict damage with magic or physical assault. You have a good idea with the mageseeker. Archery let you hit multiple time on a single minion, killing it faster..But there the hp problem... ablative shield is not very effective with a low minion number...and it can be dispel easily... Go for pure hit point so it will also give you encombrance point, i think.

with a good dispel magic and a hard fast attack (dont wait until the melle round to begin dealing damage, especially in the beginning...) you should manage to stay two minion for long so they will grow stronger faster.

You mention GA. its very effective against mostly anything, you should train some or more,. its depends on what style of opponent you will fight... lets admit it, it takes a while to have a big fight list... so its worthless to have GA if your enemy have a big DM... try to find the mid level and conquer the Blender.. !!!

I forgot to say archery, i just figured it was a norm haha.

I thought about that with the AS, I just needed a way to beef up the wall/Exbow tank's health to stay alive longer.

That's why I went Mageseeker and Exbow. The Mageseeker will deal a good amount of damage and the Exbow will chip the rest away. The point of using a melee weapon is to take away what's left without the huge hit to ranged weapon PTH in melee rounds.

I love the idea of GA but I can't really figure out what lvl makes it useful because I think DM will just rip it apart.

I definitely want to start and stay 4 minions. Yes they will be weaker, but eventually that happens anyways as your minions slow down and it saves me the MILLIONS in hiring fees.

no one else has an opinion?

The weaker mage teams won't be a problem, but once you start running into heavy duty DBs/evasion + PL, you're never going to be able to kill mages before melee hits.

I'd suggest not using a RoE if it's going to float around a lot.

Training a RoS on your AS minion and switching it out with a RoE on the tank would probably be a better idea.

A huge weakness of this team is to SMFB, but there's much nothing you can do about it.

I'm not even sure if it's going to float, but it's definitely staying RoE I don't wanna be reliant on a familiar or a ToA/ToE/RoS. I'm not really interested in those strategies.
