I need some mentoring..yes I failed miserably and made myself unhappy in the process and mass murdered my minions :(..
I really want to play CB..I just dont know how.
So I want to start all over (again)and I'm selling a bunch of things to get some CB together...
My skin isnt so thick anymore and I'm really a nice grumpy old man.
But I'm not so used to failure and its hard on me. I can't be satisfied if I duck like chicken now and run. It will haunt me forever.
So is there anybody out there who would be willing to help me out on a 1 to 1 basis and give something solid I can hold on to in a virtual world ?
are you looking for strat help? Like someone to bounce strat ideas off of?
Just ask around, I as well as others would be more than willing to help you out in anyway we can. Strat advice is always best asked in either general or in chat... many are more than willing to help you out and give you some advice on what strat is nice to stick with.

Best bet is to use chat. I, as well as many others wouldn't mind helping in any way I/they can. The convenience of a PM box allows for much smoother communication, more fluid conversation, and quicker response to the odd quick question here and there ^_^

y'know what's funny is that I didn't read DrAcO's reply before typing mine...

I would be happy to help but I am a bit lost also, this virtual world changes a lot over time. It used to be a lot different when I played before a couple years ago. Ranger is still the same though :) always right at the top, and helpful with advice and opinions. and others too. But i like to pick a strat that I can picture in my mind I get killed this way a lot as I usually choose a 4 minion team at the beginning and end up getting roasted. But it is fun for me anyway. Why not try a RoBF and a Fireball mage? They seem pretty standard and the RoBF is buffed right now -- And you could roast a lot of people - even if you get beat some. That is a fun picture! Anyway pick something you like and relax. This is a game BTW. :)

I'm going to be back online on a regular basis as of next Monday or Tuesday. I'm on UK time, so our schedules might not match up too closely, but just ask away man if you need any advice. I might need one of your guitars in return though. Yes, that one. The nice one. ;)
I will second what they have said before, just ask in chat for great advice any time.
On another note, if you just want advice on a successful way to start: pick something simple, keep it focused, and run with it. Don't try a team with 4 minions and every spell trained. You'll lose because they'll be spreading out their exp too much.
Here's an idea, to try if you like. Create a new team with a NCB. Keep it with one minion. To start with just run it as a single tank- train HP, ST, and DX. Rent those named base weapons in Rentals- those will give you a major, MAJOR, advantage early on. If you decide you don't like running with a tank, or want to save your money, unlearn the ST and DX and try fireball or magic missile. Both work great too. Just play around and have fun!
Don't worry about failure! CB isn't a race, it is much more a trip that everyone takes at their own pace. Just fight, try stuff, and if you don't like the results unlearn everything and try again. You really lose hardly anything by retraining. Hope this helps? See you around!

thanks fellows I really feel all alone here as the worst CB player ever..Do I get a rare drop for that? ;)lol
I have to examine some of the mistakes I made 1st so I dont make them again
#1 I see lots of people asked for strat ideas and input BEFORE they made changes or bought gear..
Shark FAIL .I bought what i wanted and THOUGHT I was going to make it work.WE know the results of that
#2..I didnt read everything I could have BEFORE I got started...
Shark FAIL. I hate to read as my eyes are really bad, I'll just put my glasses on and I'm okay
#3..I was trying to play in a hurry bec of my time issues and not paying attention...
Shark FAIL
#4 I didnt read.. I READ READ READ all I can here now..changes changes everywhere. I just don't understand 90% of what I'm reading yet
#4 I should have waited to start an NCB when I could get Full BA not just 160 a day from work...Thats my big issue now is no net at home...
so I came up with this for now with your help..
I'm going to wait to start a new NCB when I get internet from home so I can feel like I gave it a 100% effort..not a half baked clam effort layin on my back from south padre island in the sun :) sounds good though
And I'm going to try and play in some tournys till then and learn some different strats there and from you...
You can still run a half baked ncb and get fairly high. My last run of Mr. Jiggy was one such one and I actually ended out at 2.765 mil mpr. Just use it as a tester and test out lots of different ideas to try and find one you like and works well. On that type of run you don't need to worry about how high you make at all. As soon as the situation changes and you get something you really like you can retire him save up the 1600 ba and start a new ncb. One thing I don't suggest though is ever buying ba. Do not buy any at all. That way you are also making a good little amount of money for your real run.
