A 'Wall' Familiar/Tattoo ... Trains HP//SS comes with AP, AC increases based on level of Tattoo... Thoughts?
that's probably what the ToE should bring to a team.

it would either plateau quickly like the ToE, or be the most OP thing since potato chips...
If you think about it, familiars/tattoos represent currently the viable strategies of a team. We have Archers (Hal), the different mages, the 'monk' (uc), and enchanters (RoS) why not cover the last remaining thing, the wall. (I'm likely missing stuff, but I think it could work well.

it'll plateau like the ToE. AC has a max, after all. Unless you truly mean keep raising AC, in which case it will eventually reduce physical damage to nil... which is obviously overpowered.

OK - then buff the ToE !! That would make me smile and benefit from it ... But that tat should have an equation, that has a curve to it.
Well the wall idea is maybe what the ToE needs to become, as a wall it would add a kill slot, and the AC would work similar to the RoBF's ability to reduce magic damage, as in it would be 'easy' to get a 250-300 AC wall, after that it gets harder and harder, capping off at some point around the current top walls in the game (I'm not an AC expert)
You can junction extra AC onto it at 1/5 of the AC. Without the Armor/Cloak/Amulet, it wouldn't be overpowered. You could choose to get the extra 20-30 AC by boosting it with AoJ, or not.
Lots of options.
Or leave ToE out of this, considering this is a kill slot and functioning WALL whereas the ToE is not a kill slot, and effects the whole team or whatever.

If NS or Jon like the idea, they can fine tune it, seeing as they are smarter than me :)

the wall idea is a good idea. The RoS seems like the closest to a wall tat to me, with the ED bonus which most use with AS... thus HP to the max.
I'm sure it would be great and I'd love using it with my strat, but just image a 4 minion team with a PL/TSA wall and a wall familiar. That would be crazy. I like the Idea but making it a familiar and giving it it's own AC gear would be extremely difficult to make not to strong, not to weak.
