Dogs (in Off-topic)

I was wondering if anyone had an experience with English Bulldogs. I really wanted to get one. I just find them so adorable and really sweet, but I've heard them have a lot of medical issues. Does anyone know how expensive they can be?

The majority of bulldogs are nice and intelligent, but there is controversy about breeding a dog where they are predisposed to many medical problems, the big one being difficulty breathing.

Any brachycephalic breed can be predisposed to brachycephalic syndrome, which can be costly to correct if needed.

They can be loud, snorting, gasping, flatulent and can also be very "drooly."

Other than that, they are a very desired breed and can be very fun and loveable.

This show is one of my favorites and is fun and informative:

This show is in Japanese, but features two best friends, a bulldog and a chimpanzee who go on awesome adventures together.

I heard about those medical issues. I'm just not sure how common they are. They snoring and everything doesn't bother me much I just think it's a cute breed that doesn't seem like it needs a TON of running room, and with me living in an apartment that seems fine.
