Was it really called for ? Probably not.

I'm inclined to agree with Sickone. It was a kick, not a kill.

If a chat-op feels your conversation is pushing the border of argument, it is fully within his or her right to ask you to stop talking about said subject. I do this all of the time, and I expect nothing less than cooperation when I do. This kind of issue between users should stay between users; PM and CM are the proper venue for your arguments, not chat and not the forums. If you have an issue with another user that cannot be resolved, contact an administrator.
