A. Simple Strat (in General)

Tattoo Rune of Balrog Flame
Weapons Mace of Disruption, Elven Long Bow
Skills Archery
Spells Decay, Dispel Magic

kick this around some please and tell me why this wont work in the long run?

So Far,
Rarely do I live to melee If I dont flat out win in ranged.
The RobF provides some small evasion, right now 7(woohoo). I dont even think its worked yet either and They Burning from the flames in melee occasionally if I do live long enough.
The odd thing is the Decay, if they cant block it, does more total damage than the ELB, the MoD and The RoBf combined.
Therefore, the MoD and the SoC doesn't get applied much..No melee hits and No Shield flashy. No double damage from returned hits.

I kind of like melee rounds, but if I win in ranged I'm okey is this good or bad? heh :)

it just really sucks to try these strats out and upgrade your weapons to keep up and to give you an honest evaluation.
Then just take it on the chin if you decide to try and start an NCB again..Damned Encumbrance

well, for one thing you cant have both decay and a melee weapon. The decay is overriding the melee weapon so it is just useless extra baggage right now.

Yeah, get rid of the decay.

Its a strat that will work. It might take a little while to get going. Just make sure you keep the weapons boosted as high as encumbrance will allow. That will be key.

But, this is a good strat. I'd say give it a go.

Oh and stick with a single minion, you need as much XP as possible for this one. But it's good over the long run, even up into the top levels.

ohhh unlearn Decay and then I get to use my MoD and see my stuff work :)

The biggest thing to worry about is GA and RoS/AS/GA characters.

In the beginning levels, it is not a big problem, but higher up it is a problem.

hmmmm so I have to keep DM up high as I can and still have the edge on my weapons by...
keeping the MoD upgraded to offset AS and PL
keep the ELB heated up for the big hits
work on AC..tons of armor and I have little AC yet bec of ENCUMBRANCE
No DD so AMF isn't going to douche me
I like this its easy and moron proof almost,We see bout that :)

Going for big AC is a waste of time and money with a tattoo.

I put more into the weapons
I don't have much actual + AC armor
We sacrifice the + on the AC for EXTRA features

almost a week now and I haven't gotten disappointed yet with this one, so thats a good sign :)

but one thing about being down here in the dogpile..so many DOGS laying around with very little score and mega uber PR from being left to rot...what ever happened to auto retire when your character turned into CB refuse?

Would clear matters up some what for me anyway :) heh
