I'm planning on switching to my SoD as soon as its finished being forged. This will clear me from needing to use the Archery skill. I need to know how much experience I will need to get a (100) Effect for evasion. I don't know of any formula to follow that will help me find out, so, anyone with an Evasion effect around that level, can you, please, tell me how much Exp. I will need to bring Evasion to (100) effect?
Thanks!

(100) 846,713
get the list here:

go the the evasion part =)
Use the wiki and look up skills. It has a table off all the necessary exp to get to different levels of effect. Since you have dex as long as you aren't going over your dex you will have the same effect as it says with no penalty.

Thats not the ammount of exp. needed. Thats the level needed for (100) effect.
From wiki:"Initial training cost: 84 exp. Note that you must train this to level 41 for 168 more exp to achieve an effect of 1. "
This means I need 252 exp. for a level of 41 and an effect of (1)
To get to 100 effect is around 900k evasion I believe.

I know that, but how much "EXP" is needed to get to that "Level" of 900k
you always need 12 exp for each level. So just take the level x12 to get whatever exp necessary.

Alrighty, so I need over 10mil exp. for an Effect of (100). I think that will do it for my question! Thanks Nem!
You will need more if you haven't matched your dex with it.

I plan on matching my dex with it, thanks!
i am not sure what boots you plan on wearing, but remember that elven boots, and gloves for that matter, boost dex and skills.

Ahah, thanks dudemus. I plan on using my Beleg's Gloves for th e gloves slot, but I had forgotten about Elven Boots adding to skills! I guess I won't be needing any Spellboosters anymore! I had been indecisive on which to use. Thanks for the help!

One of those links helped me form another question! At equal NW, which should I use to boost my evasion: Displacement Boots, or Elven Boots?
DB's add to evasion based on the converted evasion effect of the +'s.
Elven Boots would add to my evasion level using a percentage based on enchantment level.
My calculations on this are: Evasion Effect (100) + NW ~11mil DBs +90 enchantment. Adds 651,544 evasion levels for a total evasion Effect of (125)
Evasion Effect (100) + Elven Boots NW ~11mil +31 enchantment. Multiplies Evasion Level by 31% (I'm not too sure if its Level or Effect that gets multiplied) so, Level 846,713/.31 = 2,731,332 or Effect of (160)
If my calculations are correct, then, EBs win, hands down. Am I right?
from what i have seen, unless you can afford to get the db's to massive levels, eb's are the best bet.

I checked out DBs and I found out that they are able to give bonuses much higher than EB's would at the same NW. DB's are MUCH cheaper to upgrade at the higher + levels than EB's are. I figured that EBs are good for early on, but if you want serious evasion later on, then get some DBs.
that's the wrong way around Joel, DB's are much better earlier on but the way it stacks means at higher levels the percentage gain from EB's is far more effective unless you plan to have DB's with the NW of the biggest weapons (even then 200mill EB's would be interesting).
