Strategy problems (in General)

Rdadf October 19 2009 10:09 PM EDT

I'm having problems with my strategy. Up till recently I was winning basically every fight, but now I'm lucky to win 1 out of 5. Tips and suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

Your running a 4 minion tank team, thats your problem.

1. They are far to expensive as a starter strat
2. Your strat is quite complex (in my eyes) and if you dont know how to improve it then I would suggest choosing something simpler and more efficient.

Try converting 2 of the tanks to enchanters, make one a PURE EC enchanter and the other a GS or Haste? Having a strong mage can also help a ton and they are FAR cheaper then tanks. Considering you have almost no funds, I would highly suggest you re-think the direction you want to go, if you want to be strong that is.

Well I'm running EETE team. the enchanters just have have base weapons for extra damage.

AdminTal Destra October 19 2009 10:25 PM EDT

take the weapons off!

enchanters are for one thing ENCHANTING

Kefeck -
How would it be possible for any new user to run an effective 4 minion tank team?
As effective, I mean upgraded weapons and armor, along with a tattoo.

All my money goes to my tank, not the enchanters. I understand it expensive and I have an 8 way xp dilution. But I don't want to go mainstream with Mages.

Your next step should be to save up for a normal tattoo. Lessers will stunt your growth.
Next, your enchanters should not have archery trained if your going to keep the weapons unequipped. This should free up a little XP to make your enchantments larger.
Also, if your only running a single tank, then GS & Haste may not be worth it, especially since your using a LToA already.

Here's how I would set your strat up:
E - AS (Max AS, can add EC later if needed)
M - MM mage (1/4 HP, Max MM)
T - Tank with ToA (1/3 HP, 1.0 Archery, rest ST/DX)
E - EC / GA (1/2 EC, Max GA)

Currently all enchanters are half and half. My tank is half on stats and half on haste. I was thinking take EC off E1 and E3 and take off GS off E2. That way I can maximize damage with AF/GS/Tank.

simple is almost always better

BHT October 19 2009 11:50 PM EDT

Your team will be VERY vulnerable to DM, to counter that try not to spread your XP out into to many different spells. Having 2 strong spells will usually work better then 4 weak ones.

Rdadf October 20 2009 12:00 AM EDT

Thats what I did. Maxed out AS/AF/GA. Since most of the teams I've looked at have mages, so EC or haste won't help will it since DD isn't based around str or dx?

unlearn archery on the 3 enchanters dude

I can give you one tip, rent one of those named base bows. They do a crap load of damage compared with the bow you're using right now.

Rdadf October 20 2009 11:50 AM EDT

I already have a bow, it's (5x26)(+8).

Brakke Bres [Ow man] October 20 2009 11:58 AM EDT

named base bow acts like a x150 +4 bow, yeah you're better of with your own bow.
