How about decrease NUB cash bonus by 50% ie if its 400% make it 200% and use the other 200% put into like a blacksmith bank account where they can only use that money on upgrades at the blacksmith.

This has been talked about before. It is not good to limit their options because it would also make it harder for those who really want to stay and compete to do so. If they are forced to use it on blacksmith items then they cannot use it to get forgers or save up for minion hiring/ tattoo insta and things of that nature.
