[Fixed] Small bug Returning loans (in General)

Brakke Bres [Ow man] October 29 2009 5:38 PM EDT

If you have more multiple items loaned to you and you want to return them earlier you can press the Return Now button.

Pressing the button on the first item gives you a "In a few minutes" response.

Pressing the button for the second item and that returns an error:

"Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server."

AdminShade October 29 2009 5:39 PM EDT

Then don't press the button for a second time and do as you are told to:

'Wait a few minutes'...?

Brakke Bres [Ow man] October 29 2009 5:42 PM EDT

No it doesn't say wait a few minutes it says Back in a few minutes. Subtle difference yet a difference nonetheless!

AdminTal Destra October 29 2009 5:56 PM EDT

dude, chill, it doesn't happen immediately... have you never had a rental that said "in a few minutes" til return? chill

Wraithlin October 29 2009 5:58 PM EDT

When I attack someone that is comotose i get a flag that says I have to wait till he recovers, when i hit the button again it just keeps giving me the same flag. Is this a bug?

QBRanger October 29 2009 6:06 PM EDT

nope,

it takes 30 seconds for someone to revive after you beat them.

Wraithlin October 29 2009 6:12 PM EDT

That was a joke Ranger

QBRanger October 29 2009 6:24 PM EDT

I guess I did not get the joke.

Bres asked a good question and you asked a good one also. I fail to see the humor in either of your questions.

Wraithlin October 29 2009 6:29 PM EDT

Technically it was not a joke about Bres' actualy problem, but just the percieved problem from the responses of other people. Her problem actually is a bug. She's not hitting the same button on the same item, she should be able to return multiple items in a row, but the game is giving her an error. That's not how it's supposed to work. I was just making a joke about spamming a button that doesn't make the game go any faster.

I didn't either at first, went to the wiki was ready to c/p, but then hit me he probably was being sarcastic about the time aspect. *shrugs*

Anyway, I found it interesting that in the wiki under fighting it talks about how if your minion dies during battle it costs money to revive it? How long ago was this changed, or was it incorporated into the rewards where you get less money if a minion dies?

Wraithlin October 29 2009 6:37 PM EDT

I would guess it's actually taken out when you hit the Fight button, that way you don't have to pay anything if you just wait 30 sec for a revival. Also, I've gotten the message when trying to fight that I don't have the money to revive all my minions. I get that message when I hit the Fight button and it gives me that instead of a fight screen.

It's taken when you hit fight. Track your rewards and you'll notice you have say $10,561 cash in a fight where two of your three minions died, then win a fight and get $812 and you'll be at like $11,338 or something like that. If somebody attacks you and kills your minions though, it's free for them to heal and happens either when you fight or when the timer clicks over to the 30s mark

Brakke Bres [Ow man] October 30 2009 3:15 PM EDT

Wraithlin, since when am I a "her", last time I checked I was a "him" :)

{WW]Nayab [Cult of the Valaraukar] October 30 2009 4:35 PM EDT

Brakke, lol her
The minions are automatically revived when you fight someone, taking away the money before the fight starts. Before i realised that i would click equip, revive, fight.

Wraithlin October 30 2009 4:46 PM EDT

Sorry, it was the calling you Bres, it just made my mind think girl.

AdminShade October 30 2009 5:19 PM EDT

Perhaps the button should disappear when you click it once.

AdminNightStrike October 30 2009 5:34 PM EDT

Is the issue in returning a second item before the first one you clicked goes back, or is the issue in clicking the button multiple times on the same item?

AdminShade October 30 2009 5:56 PM EDT

From what I think, clicking multiple times on the same item.

Rawr October 30 2009 6:08 PM EDT

"Pressing the button on the first item gives you a "In a few minutes" response.

Pressing the button for the second item and that returns an error: "

seems pretty clear he means when he returns a second item it bugs

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] October 30 2009 6:51 PM EDT

Yes he does Rawr. It gives a server error if you try to return the second item, before the first item has actually returned.

Brakke Bres [Ow man] October 31 2009 7:14 AM EDT

Yes Rawr and Titan. Not the same item twice but multiple items

AdminShade October 31 2009 7:37 AM EDT

Ahh, item instead of time... oops!

AdminNightStrike November 7 2009 10:15 AM EST

Ok, put it in the wiki and I'll look at it.

AdminNightStrike April 10 2012 4:10 PM EDT

To Wraithlin and Tal, you misunderstood the first post.

For the actual bug, I cannot replicate it. Does this affect anyone still today?

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] April 10 2012 4:23 PM EDT

I just used TP to test all sorts of combinations of returns; and I cannot replicate the bug like I could when it initially came up. I'm not 100%; but I think this was taken care of awhile ago.
