Im getting beat by a guy who's mpr i am 2.5 times higher then. My DM is 1/5th my experience(1 million raw effect). my decay is almost base (10k) but his AMF is hitting me with a .99 return.

Can someone please compare our strats and maybe explain to me how this guy gets almost 100% AMF return. Do I need to train more in decay or something?

His name is Wraithlin or something.

To get for AMF, you need to have 100x the opponents DD. There are formulas in the wiki if you search for to tell you what his AMF level exactly is. The short answer is yes. If you want your decay return to be much less train more decay, and NSCs couldn't hurt.

In general, Decay on only one minion team is not usually a solid strategy to beat most opponents. Just to get good challenges against certain opponents.

Oh yeah, He is tearing you apart. I am sure he has no EDs but it doesn't matter. Between his decays, and your AMFed decay he eats completely through your hp while you kill 1 minion a round.

If you just untrained decay, i think we might kill each other off on round 4. I'd have to run the numbers again. Alternately if you untrained DM and put 20k experience into AMF you would mow me over.

As for the bug, there isn't one. X is AMF/DD. Equation is 1 - 1/2X.

My AMF is 390000/ your 10k = 39.

1/(2*39)=0.0128

1-0.0128 = .9872 or 99% AMF

Wraithlin October 29 2009 9:29 PM EDT

If you pumped your Decay up to 100k you would get:

3.9 for X

1/(2 * 3.9) = 0.128

1- 0.128 = 87.2% AMF level.

So if you put 10x your current XP into your decay you would only get another 12% damage out of it. Up to you, I would just attack targets without AMF if I were you.

Actually i'm pretty sure with about a 60k MPR team I could beat you with the following lineup:

Minion 1: Base decay + 100XP worth, Full XP into Dx
Minion 2: Base decay + Full XP into AMF
Minion 3: Base decay + Full XP into AMF
Minion 4: Base decay + Full XP into AMF, RoBF that hits for at least 8000 damage.

I would reduce you to 7250 HP with just the decays ticking over 3 rounds, the first minion would dodge your mageseeker everytime, and the RoBF would kill you on round 3 if it could hit over 7250.

Oh and pumping your Dx/STR like you're currently doing is going to take awhile to makeup the difference, my EC is hitting you for triple your current stats.

got it handled.

Now just build a new fightlist and you're all set.
