A little something I wrote... (in Off-topic)

...that somehow managed to pour itself out of my soul.

Enjoy.

Get in, get out,
unnoticed, unfelt.
The sands of time
trickling away,
grain by grain,
day by day.
It is the only thing
in which I play.
My time is here,
right now, no delay.
For I am not the only one
to find It,
to hide in it, to fight in it,
taunting, daunting,
unmatched in every way.
It is The Game
in which I play.
grain by grain,
day by day.

What I like the most about short literature is how it can, in a matter of seconds, form imagery that is very short-lived but also very intense. I think this is achieved by not having to process too much information regarding settings, characters or even described smells. In these cases i'm left with something more conceptual in mind, something vague that's more a feeling than an image. I prefer it that way.

What I mean is that I liked your piece. Personally, I pictured two people fighting in a gigantic hourglass. It was epic.

Good job, and I also lost the Game.

A poem without a poet, how poetic.
Great poem Rave, imaginative, entertaining and intriguing all at once.

Thanks guys. =) I've never wrote poetry before, and for some reason, for the first time in my life, I absolutely had to write this poem. I also wrote another one describing an experience I had leading up to why I wrote this poem in the first place.

Enjoy =)

The tremors, the forces,
they are felt thundering around
inside my head.
Mountains demolished, valleys corroded.
Plains cracked, oceans boiled.
Tectonics shattering my skull.
The pieces melding, melting, clicking.
The dismissed reminisced, discerned, understood.
The cosmos warping, changing, mutating.
The fabric bending, blending, evolving.
Reality morphs to The Will.
The Will of creation,
The creation of opportunity,
The opportunity for harmony.
